This is not only romantic relationships, but a love of parent, of sibling, of friend, of neighbor, of fellow humans. It is the flexibility that allows us to fold into a fetal position as well as extend our spines towards exaltation at the highest levels of our spirits. It is the yin/yang that is present in our hips that allows us to extend and flex our spine in order to offer our bellies and our backs to the sun, to the earth, to ourselves.
