RB TAROT: I
Card number 1 our journey of the Tarot through a somatic lens. Written by Lucca Lirio
RB TAROT: A somatic oracle for Radical Bodies, Resilient Lovers, and Biodynamic Rebels
We here at Responsive Body have been exploring a myriad of ways to incorporate somatic technology into previous systems and technologies. And one of the ways we have delved deep has been the Tarot. We see Jung's breakdown and use of the tarot archetypes for deep therapeutic treatment; or simply as a game to ponder and question and have a few laughs. Written by Lucca Lirio
My personal Calming Tea Blend
These herbs are all very famous for their calming, anti inflammatory, nervous system booster qualities. I chose these herbs because if you like loose leaf tea, your cupboard probably has these ingredients already. Written by Lucca Lirio.
Mrs. Patel's "Start Your Day Right" Ayurvedic Masala Chai Blend
This blend is a great digestion enhancer and energy booster, as it works to strengthen and warm Agni (the digestive fire) so it is a great first thing into your stomach at the start of the day. Written by Lucca Lirio.
Love Like Gravity
If you’ve ever been to a workshop, poked around the website, peaked at our sweatshirts, or heard us speak… odds are you’re vaguely familiar with our sort of Responsive Body tag line, “Love Like Gravity.” Dive deeper to explore what we mean, how we integrate it, and how you can feel it in your own life. “Love, like gravity, is a force -beyond a feeling- that just IS no matter what.”
From Shit To Grit
Here we find ourselves again, at the end of our calendar year. Alongside any tender or disappointed feelings at this “ending”, the responsive body ecology highlights that this calendar marker is actually one of many ongoing endings and beginnings. Bodies have had much to grieve not only in the past few years but throughout our human history – and in typical RB fashion, we grew curious about this process and identified our collective need to SHIT! Our new blog space offers a deeper dive and exploration about what it means for us to be in the transformative process from shit to grit. About how we can feel into our own cyclical biological optimism that honors our shit as the compost that fertilizes the soil and potentiates the necessary life force to keep going. We hope you enjoy diving deeper.
